Lessons
Individual lessons
taught Western or English Style. All lessons begin with grooming
the horse so the student can bond with his mount. You will
learn how to saddle and “tack up” the horse. Once on board, the
lessons progress to working in the round pen or ring.
English riders will learn to walk, trot and canter. We put an
emphasis on the hunt seat position. You will learn to post and
develop an independent, balanced seat. English lessons progress
to low level dressage, demonstrating bending, figures,
transitions, extensions, preparation for jumping and cavaletti
work.
Western riders will have lessons in the ring or on the trail. As
the rider advances, more emphasis is put upon control, bending,
leg movement, etc… Beginner riders progress through walk, trot,
lope, halt, go and turns. Advanced riders can be trained in
Western Pleasure, equitation, trail, showmanship and timed
events. |

monthly dressage clinics.
Our in house teachers work with clients to further their goals
